The Lea, Llanigon, Hay-on-Wye


This attractive, refurbished house offers cosy, comfortable holiday accommodation all year round. We are situated in the charming village of Llanigon, just 3km from Hay-on-Wye, nestled in the foot hills of the Black Mountains in the heart of Kilvert Country and The Wye Valley.


The house is well presented, light and airy throughout. It sleeps 5/6 in 3 bedrooms. With its private south facing garden this is a fantastic base whether you’re looking for a fun packed activity break or a peaceful country retreat with a sunny spot to relax.

Hay-on-Wye

The market town of Hay-on-Wye, home to the Guardian Literary Festival, is just 2 miles away with its second hand book shops, welsh craft centre, restaurants, café’s and pubs. The festival site, which is half way between Hay and Llanigon, is within very reaonable walking distance of The Lea.

Nearby you will also find a great range of outdoor activities. We are located close to Offa's Dyke and within easy access of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. The National Show Caves of Wales with its fantastic dinosaur park is within an hour’s drive and the capital city of Cardiff with its shops and castle is less than two.
